Police officers are appealing for information about a man wearing a high visibility jacket after a taxi driver was robbed in Wellingborough.
The incident took place in Minerva Way in the town at about 12.30am on Friday 5 September after the 58-year-old driver had picked up a fare at the taxi rank in Orient way in the town centre.

Once the driver had taken the offender to Minerva Way, the offender demanded cash and claimed to be in possession of a knife. The driver handed over a small amount of cash before a brief struggle ensued, in which the offender was punched in the face.

The offender then ran off.
